About Us

Chicago, IL
Global Expansion in Progress

Éxodo is where global culture meets the American spirit—creating unforgettable, boundary-pushing experiences crafted by the hands of those who now call this place home. More than a restaurant group, Éxodo builds concepts from the ground up—designing moments in every bite, every beat, and every detail. At its heart, Éxodo is a tribute to the hardworking, talented immigrants who found new beginnings through the experience of exile.

Each venue celebrates roots, culture, and tradition with a modern twist: a vibrant cocktail program, culturally inspired cuisine, and music that transports you to a sun-soaked, feel-good escape. Éxodo brings together the rich diversity of those who journeyed to the U.S., found a home in hospitality, and now stand proud—fusing flavors, mixing rhythms, and serving dishes that only multiculturalism could create. Bold, unexpected, and impossible to forget.

Our mission is to honor roots, traditions, and diversity—uniting people through unforgettable food, drink, and hospitality

Founders

Daniel Briceño

Founder & CEO

Daniel Briceño is a Mechanical Engineer with a strong passion for business development, production, and manufacturing. He is the Founder and currently serves as CEO of Exodo Hospitality

Daniel has played a key role in launching, consulting on, and building a diverse range of casual and full-service dining concepts. His portfolio includes Neapolitan pizzerias, Mexican eateries, bagel shops, America’s first plant-based empanada shop, as well as Peruvian, Japanese, and Mexican restaurants—alongside an upscale cocktail social club.

While firmly rooted in the hospitality industry, Daniel’s early interest in civil engineering led him to co-found a construction and development company. This venture specializes in commercial build-outs and ground-up construction of luxury single-family homes, seamlessly combining his technical expertise with his entrepreneurial vision.

Rooted in his Peruvian heritage and shaped by a lifelong passion for exploration, Chef José Luis brings tradition and creativity together to craft immersive culinary experiences. His cooking tells the story of his journey—from the Andes of Venezuela to the kitchens of Lima, and now across North America’s most exciting food cities.

Beyond his work in the kitchen, Chef José Luis is a global ambassador for Peruvian cuisine. He actively collaborates with chefs and industry leaders around the world, while also championing mentorship and community initiatives that use food as a force for connection and positive change
